New year

New year is a great holiday in our country. Everybody like it very much. People don't go for a work and pupples don't go to school at this day. Usualy the presents put under the Christmas tree. At 12 o'clock people watch the tv and see the president.

Friday is "the mother-in-law of the evening", when the son-in-law goes "to the mother-in-law for pancakes," and the mother-in-law, of course, meets the son-in-law, and treats with pancakes. Saturday - the traditional "zolovkin gathering". On this day they go to visit all the relatives, and they treat themselves to pancakes. The last day of Maslenitsa in Russia is traditionally a forgiven Sunday.
