Ask and answer questions using How long ... since/for. Use these phrases plus 2-3 of your own ideas:

have these shoes, know your best friend, live in this area, study English, be at this school, swim in the swimming pool.

Example:

- How long have you been reading this book?

- I have been reading it since Monday/for three days.

1) How long have you been wearing these shoes?

- I have been wearing these shoes for more than 3 weeks.

2) How long have you known your friend?

- I have known my friend since I was 4

3) How long has she been living in this area?

- She has been living in this area since 2003

4) How long have they been studying English?

- They have been studying English for 5 years

5) How long have you been being at this school?

- I have been being in this school for 9 years

6) How long has she been swimming in the swimming pool?

- She has been swimming in the swimming pool for 2 hours already!

7) How long have you been watching that movie?

- I have been watching that movie for one hour

8) How long have you been reading this book?

- I have been reading this book since last week
